Email Policy
Guidelines for proper email usage on our platform
Outgoing Email Rules
All customers using Pacy World email infrastructure must comply with the following:
1. Throttling Required
All bulk or list-based email must be throttled to a maximum rate of 1 message per 3 seconds. Attempting to send hundreds of messages simultaneously overloads the mail queue, degrades service for all customers, and may result in immediate account suspension.
2. Large Mailing Lists
Mailing lists exceeding 900 recipients may only be sent during off-peak hours:
- Saturday and Sunday (all day)
- Monday–Friday: 1:00 AM – 8:00 AM Eastern
3. Purchased or Third-Party Lists Prohibited
You may not send to mailing lists that were purchased, rented, or obtained from a third party. All recipients must have explicitly opted in to receive email from you specifically. Violations result in immediate account termination.
4. Zero Tolerance for Spam
Unsolicited commercial email (spam) is strictly prohibited. Any violation results in immediate termination of the offending account. We cooperate with anti-spam organizations and law enforcement.
5. CAN-SPAM Compliance
All bulk email must comply with the FTC CAN-SPAM Act, including:
- Accurate "From" and "Subject" headers
- Identification as an advertisement (if applicable)
- Valid physical mailing address
- Clear unsubscribe mechanism honored within 10 business days
6. Relay Through Local MTA Only
All outgoing email must be relayed through the local mail transfer agent (localhost:25). Direct SMTP connections from scripts to external mail servers are prohibited. Tools like "DarkMailer" or similar direct mailers are banned.
Consequences
Violations of this policy may result in:
- Immediate suspension of email privileges
- Termination of the hosting account
- Reporting to relevant anti-spam authorities
- Liability for any fines or damages incurred
