How to Setup Your Pacy World Email

Prerequisites

These instructions were written for Microsoft Outlook 2007. However the values used below may be used to configure an older version if necessary.

Warning Notice Pacy World highly recommends that you use Mozilla Thunderbird for the best experience.

How To

  1. If this is your first time running Microsoft Outlook, you will be presented with the following screen. Click on Next to continue, otherwise please skip down to step 3.

  2. Select Yes then click Next. Then skip down to step 5.

  3. While in Outlook, select Tools Account Settings. Then Click on the New... button.

  4. Select the first option, then click Next.

  5. Place a check in Manually configure server settings or addition server types box a click Next to continue.

  6. Select the Internet E-mail radio button and click Next.

  7. Enter your name and email address.
    Select POP for Account Type.
    For Incoming mail server, enter your domain name with the mail. prefix. For example, if your domain name is example.com you would enter mail.example.com.
    For Outgoing Mail Server, enter your domain name with the mail. prefix. For example, if your domain name is example.com you would enter mail.example.com.
    Enter your complete email address in lowercase characters for the User Name.
    Enter your password in the Password field.
    Ensure that the Remember Password box is checked.
    Click on More Settings.

  8. Select the Outgoing Server tab and check the box labeled My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Click OK the return to the previous screen

  9. Click on Next to continue.

  11. Your Pacy Word E-Mail account is ready to use.
