How to Setup Your Pacy World Email

Mozilla Thunderbird (recommended)

Prerequisites

• Working Internet Connection.
• E-mail Account hosted by Pacy World.
• PC with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7, Macintosh with OS X 10.4 or higher, Linux (Fedora or Ubuntu recommended).
• A copy of Mozilla Thunderbird 3.1 or higher from http://www.getthunderbird.com. Follow the steps on that page to get Thunderbird installed. It's very easy!

How To

1. If this is your first time running Mozilla Thunderbird, you will be automatically presented with the account setup. If you do not see this screen, please click on File New Mail Account.

   

2. Fill in your name, email address, and password. Then click Continue.

   

3. Mozilla Thunderbird will automatically discover the server name and port number from Pacy World's servers. Please click on Create Account.

   

4. You may safely ignore the scary warning about encryption. Place a check in the box next to I Understand the Risks. Once again, click Create Account.

   

5. Your account is now ready to use.
